Training Specialist (AML Compliance), Quezon City, PH
As a member of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) – Office of Consumer Monitoring and Investigations team, you will be involved end-to-end in developing, implementing, and improving training programs for Western Union’s FIU’s functions. This role will allow you to network with leaders, managers, partners, and other stakeholders across Western Union’s corporate locations.
Role Responsibilities
- The main focus of your role will be to implement and maintain training standards within the Transaction Monitoring Program. Depending on business needs, you may be asked to support a different team and/or learn a different process.
- You will be responsible for delivering training to the specialists in the teams you support, ensuring their proper certification, logging training records, and maintaining training programs with relevant documentation. This includes creating, updating and governing training materials, reviewing and updating process documentation and knowledge base content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
- You will also drive training innovations, develop new training programs, work with stakeholders from other teams, and act as a training champion in training related projects.
Role Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in an AML related role
- Experience with facilitating training, mentoring peers, or similar, either at Western Union or elsewhere
- Experience with reviewing, updating, and governing procedures and documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business processes
- Strong interest in continuous learning and training development
- Readiness to drive and contribute to innovations independently and in collaboration with others
- Good English language skills (spoken and written) and advanced knowledge of core MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at ease with stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adjust to different shifts occasionally.
It will be considered an advantage if you have:
- A diploma, formal certification or proven informal education experience in training, education, instructional design, psychology, or related fields.
Work Shift
Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.
