Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager within Digital Product team based in Pune, you will own the product strategy and digital product portfolio across mobile and web platforms for Western union's core money transfer digital experiences. This role is responsible for shaping customer journeys, defining high-level product requirements, and driving decisions across Western union's digital customer experiences.
You will collaborate with global and regional business and product stakeholders and own some of the key areas of Digital Product to drive Digital strategy and global product management for Western Union's digital channels ensuring that we stay ahead of customer needs and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
You will also –
- Define and evolve the digital product strategy in partnership with business and regional product teams.
- Design and own end-to-end user journeys and high-level functional requirements, grounded in design principles, customer insights, market data, and competitive benchmarking, leading a team of product managers to ensure effective execution.
- Structure data driven product management approach to define priorities and manage product KPIs across the entire customer engagement journey to ensure performance delivery
- Develop a strong understanding of platform capabilities, APIs, third-party vendors, and application interfaces that underpin the digital product and ecosystem.
- Proactively identify and propose enhancements, optimizations, and innovations to improve product and global platform experience and drive market growth.
- Partner and communicate effectively with Regional Product, Business, Engineering, Design, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes
- Build, mentor, coach and grow the product management team with the right set of functional and leadership skills.
Role Requirements
- Overall 10+ years of product management experience, with end-to-end ownership of complex digital products.
- Proven digital product experience in any of the following – fintech, e-commerce, payments, wallets, or other digital platforms.
- Solid understanding of PDLC
- Strong expertise in defining customer journeys, high-level product requirements, and end-to-end product experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate effectively at an executive level.
- Can collaborate, build trust and navigate through teams and geographies to build products that delight our global customers.
- Experience building and scaling consumer-facing mobile and web products.
Work Shift
Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.
