Auditor, Data Analyst – Vilnius, Lithuania

In this global role, you will be responsible for internal controls and risk management to ensure compliance with regulations and identify areas for improvement. You will Identify, quantify and communicate internal control issues through the utilization of Data Analytics.
Role Responsibilities

Formulate, communicate and present audit findings and recommendations to Internal Audit Team.

Work with the Internal Audit team to develop data testing approaches, highlight data analytics opportunities and drive efficiencies in testing from the use of data analytics.

Design and implement appropriate data analytic techniques, primarily using software tools (e. g., SQL, Alteryx, Snowflake, Python).

Work as an effective team member by communicating relevant issues and follow through on issues encountered.
Role Requirements

Demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills to help find answers to patterns, trends and outliers.

Having creative problem-solving skills and ability to take conceptual ideas and develop detailed execution steps.

Being well organized by summarizing details into succinct, executive-level reporting.

Being proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Having experience in using dashboard / reporting software (e. g., Power-Bi) would be an advantage.

Having Data Analytics experience in External/Internal Audit in financial services, banking, other financial environment or experience of using software tools like Alteryx, Python, SQL for data analysis would be an asset.

Being able to work independently with limited oversight yet communicating effectively on a timely basis when required.

Professional, enthusiastic, proactive and results focused individual.
Work Shift
Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.

Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 2,083– 2,833 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible for an annual variable target incentive (which may include long-term incentives, if eligible) that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
