Role Responsibilities
Omni-Channel Integration services (OIS) are cross-domain orchestration APIs designed to deliver consistent behavior across diverse customer-facing channels. By abstracting channel-specific complexities, OIS ensures seamless integration and unified experiences, regardless of the interface. As a Software Engineer in the Integrations Engineering team, your primary responsibility is to create a consistent and seamless integration in collaboration with other engineers.
- Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards
- Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers
- Apply Agile methodology daily and follow Definition of Done (DoD) process for better quality by maintaining 80% and unit test coverage and 70% integration test coverage
- Develop technical & domain expertise and apply to solving product challenges
- Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional impacts
- Share engineering support, release and execute through diligent planning, attention to detail
- Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
- Adopt a culture champion mindset on the team and across the company
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s in computer science or related fields with 4+ years of professional experience or Masters with 2+ years of experience. Equivalent work experience.
- Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and OOA/D
- Demonstrated experience in modern programming languages (for example, Java/C++) and design patterns
- Team player with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment and adapt to changing business priorities and to thrive under pressure
- Strong hands-on experience building applications using Java, Spring Boot framework, Postgress or similar databases, Multithreading, serialization, externalization, collections, etc.
- Experience with J2EE technologies, DevOps tools, XML, Web technologies, Web Services Experience with APIs, REST/JSON, Microservices, Observability Tools (Eg. Dynatrace)
- Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery)
- Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing both direct and indirect talent effectively.

Work Shift

Salary
Annual base salary range is $90,000 – 110,000 USD per year. Total on-target compensation includes a base salary and short-term that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
