Role Responsibilities
As a Solution Engineering Manager, you will lead our Enterprise Integration Platform team, which is responsible for managing critical initiatives and driving growth to enable rapid scaling of both new and existing customer-facing products. The work you and your team will do each day will directly impact our customer experience and business outcomes by designing, building, and operating secure, high-performance services.
- Grow and shape a team of talented engineers, working alongside both product and solution architecture to deliver services which enable rapid and effective integration with multiple 3rd party verification partners.
- Lead the planning and execution of the work for your team daily, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, delivery timelines, and appropriately navigate conflicting priorities.
- Partner with product and functional leaders to define and prioritize the work your team will be responsible to deliver across each quarter.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely updates to stakeholders.
- Ensuring technical excellence, the work accomplished by your team achieves quality, security, availability, performance, and resiliency targets.
- Create an environment for your team to thrive, where they are effective, productive, and proud that the work they accomplish is best in class.
- Challenge the status quo, identifying opportunities and innovative solutions to improve service performance and customer experience.
Role Requirements
- Solid experience, hands on and leading a team, in building and operating scalable API platforms and real-time applications.
- 10+ years of progressive experience and a proven track record of delivering complex, mission critical systems.
- Experience directly managing engineers, including hiring, training, motivating, and measuring performance.
- Proven experience in solution design refinement, code reviews, pull request management.
- Strong experience with AWS, Java, Spring Boot, REST API, Sprint Batch, Core Java, Kafka, Container Orchestration, Cluster Management, Microservices and Event Driven Architecture.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional, global teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in agile SDLC methodologies and hybrid project management environments.
- Strong sense of responsibility to drive delivery and accountability.
- Desire to learn.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
- Experience in Money Transfer, Risk, FinTech, Banking, Payments, Regulatory Compliance are a plus
Work Shift
