You will be working with a team of engineers with a broad range of responsibilities including all aspects of software engineering like requirements understanding and validation, solution design detailed design, development, testing and software configuration management. Build products, systems, and services that are optimized, well organized and maintainable, and have high impact on our end users.

Role Responsibilities

• Create complex conceptual designs including engineering interfaces and interactions.
• Research, evaluate and plan technical solutions to business problems, including software evaluations.
• Oversee implementation and adoption of new technology acquisition, including performing some hands-on engineering implementation.
• Design integration scenarios for end-to-end system integration of new and existing solutions.
• Proof of Concept – Evaluate various technologies, performing a proof of concept in each, and define the recommended solution.
• Develop and maintain system architecture strategy and roadmaps, working with engineering partners and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to creating a cohesive and reusable engineering architecture that optimizes for speed and value
• Provide expert level support of the Digital engineering, risk and or payments
• Be responsible for migration of assigned platforms and processes as per project timelines and ensure smooth knowledge transfer in partnership with on-shore and offshore stakeholders
• Partner with key stakeholders, both off-shore and on-shore, and delivering on the service level agreements
• Provide mentoring and coaching to Sr Associate, Associates and Jr Associate software engineers

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering/Business with an emphasis in Information Technology.
• 8+ years of software development experience
• 2 years in a Solution lead capacity within a medium to large organization.
• Experience developing a common architecture vision with IT and line of business leaders.
• Ability to implement shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows. Ensure that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies.
• Strong knowledge of technical frameworks, methodologies, industry standards and specifications.
• Extensive system design experience in business event-driven transactions
• Solid hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, architectural and design patterns, Springboot, Web technologies, ORM/Hibernate, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, AWS or other cloud providers
• API design and development including ReST, Soap, XML/JSON and Web API
• Experience in DevOps
• Experience with agile development methodologies with emphasis on Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery).
• MVC (model-view-controller), code control (e.g. GIT) and PowerShell skills
• Code configuration management (e.g. Subversion)
• SQL procedural programming experience
• Python (or other scripting languages)
• Experience with banking system integrations, SWIFT network, ACH transactions.
