As Senior Automation Developer, you are going to deliver complex process automation that fulfills the highest quality standards and makes intelligent use of suitable technical tools and solutions. You will be looking for opportunities to expand and improve our development standards and quality criteria. You are going to be a crucial resource in the training and coaching of Junior Automation Developers and Automation Developers and ensure a common level of knowledge and adherence to our standards. You will support the constant refinement of our team’s technical skillset by testing new tools and technologies and help to evaluate their suitability for our needs.

Job Description

  • Train and mentor the CoE’s development team in the use of new tools and technologies, support the Junior and Mid-Level Developers on a day-to-day basis in their development and maintenance activities 

  • Create, design, and control the technical solution architecture of process automation in close collaboration with Developers, Business Analysts, and SMEs – 

  • Develop and maintain new and existing processes/tasks/objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand.  

  • Testing, evaluation, and implementation of new tools and technologies including certification to be able to act as trainers and mentors for the CoE’s development team 

  • Create and continuously evolve CoE-wide design and coding standards, policies, and procedures. 

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field like Computer Science, Information Systems or Systems Engineering or an equivalent combination of educational and practical experience

  • At least 2 years of experience with RPA software development (preferably Blue Prism, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere) and a proven track record of several successful process automation

  • Intermediate working experience with Object-oriented Programming (preferably C#, VBA, Python, JavaScript)

  • Working experience with Web APIs utilizing related technologies (REST, SOAP, HTTP, JSON, Oauth)

  • Demonstrated ability to design robust, reusable solutions and expand team’s skillset including training and mentoring

  • Experience in agile working methodologies

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Excellent team collaboration skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

The annual gross base salary from 32,000 EUR. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
