Role Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the development and execution of product strategies for digital ecosystem solutions across the LACA region, including digital wallets and prepaid products.
  • Drive regional digital initiatives by launching new products and continuously optimizing existing experiences to improve customer adoption and engagement.
  •  Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities that enhance the end-to-end user experience.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new growth opportunities aligned with regional customer needs and evolving industry dynamics.
  • Assess new market opportunities, including product expansion, strategic partnerships, and entry into new customer segments.
  • Build and contribute to robust business cases, defining value propositions, expected impact, and prioritization frameworks.
  • Support the sizing and scoping of opportunities to define a clear, data-driven product roadmap balancing short- and long-term objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Intelligence, Compliance, Risk, Payments, Design, and Go-To-Market teams to ensure successful product delivery and alignment.
  • Influence key stakeholders across regions and functions to drive alignment, execution, and product success.

Role Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management, preferably in consumer-facing environments within financial services.
  • Advanced English level is required.
  • Proven experience in payments, remittances, and/or digital wallet ecosystems in LACA Region.
  • Strong experience working cross-functionally with Compliance, Risk, Payments, Design, and Technology teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable product decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience managing or leading cross-functional initiatives and driving execution in dynamic environments.

Work Shift  

Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.
