In this unique global role, you will project manage key functional projects, while engaging with stakeholders across multiple Western Union locations.
Role Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of complex, high-visibility projects and the Intake process management for new countries, merger/acquisitions and expansion of Western Union owned locations networks, including integration plans.
- Lead and coordinate the execution of cross functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and customer-centric vision.
- Act as a proactive collaborator and escalation point for critical challenges, driving resolution through creative problem-solving, translating root cause to action, messaging to executive leadership.
- Develop and maintain roadmaps, ensuring clear communication of timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies to all stakeholders.
- Execute process mapping and post-rollout review/monitoring when applicable.
- Facilitate strategic decision-making by managing the store’s data management.
- Ensure the projects meet compliance requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational quality expectations.
- Engage with Operations leadership to tailor strategic requirements and impact assessments, ensuring departmental efficiencies are achieved.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced Project and Program Management degree or certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is preferred.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects.
- 5+ years of experience working as a liaison between different teams and organizations, going across silos and teaming up with others to achieve common goals.
- Advance proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Visio and Project Management tools
- Ability to manage competing priorities while influencing stakeholders and ensuring collaboration across teams.
- Proven ability to present complex information and strategic recommendations to senior management with clarity and impact.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Spanish or another language is a plus.
- Advanced verbal & written communication skills to manage senior audiences in English. Spanish and other languages is a plus.
- Advanced ability to work independently focuses on solutions and driving results.
- Advanced sense of urgency, attention to detail, & customer service oriented.
- Advanced experience in the agent operations field and business is a plus.
- Global role, flexibility to work with different time zones is required.
