As a Manager, you will manage the planning and direction of departmental activities related to general accounting functions and preparation of reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances, and other financial results. In addition, you would be performing below responsibilities –

Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare stand-alone financial statements and regulatory filings according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and country specific requirements.
  • Reviewing the entities incentive calculation and ensuring periodic recognition in the books of accounts.
  • Prepares, analyzes, and monitors monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting schedules.
  • Supporting Income taxes disclosures and VAT compliance.
  • Balance sheet analytics and audit support
  • Reviewing software capitalization accounting for compliance with policies and partnering with business partners in IT and Accounting.
  • Assists with the accounting for emerging issues and complex or unique transactions such as M&A (due diligence, valuations, purchase accounting), business initiatives, revenue recognition for new products
  • Also support the expansion of India's F&A GL, Settlements, and Statutory Reporting footprint.

Role Requirements

  • 8+ years of financial accounting experience with 3+ years in leadership profile.
  • Exposure to Banking domain / financial services.
  • IFRS or any equivalent certification is good to have.
  • Expert knowledge of GAAP, IFRS.
  • Experience / knowledge of latest technology – Power BI, Gen AI, etc. is good to have. 
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Effective leader and team player.  Must be a strong, decisive, bottom-line and action-oriented manager of people and projects, who can obtain results.  Effective communicator, orally and in writing.
