As an FX trader you will maintain a profitable and sustainable customer portfolio by using your first-class relationship management skills. You will provide professional expertise in the areas of corporate foreign exchange to our corporate clients, while being responsible for customer retention, monitoring market information and applying your sales skills to develop and profitably grow our client base.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide clients with market information and global economic news to help influence their cash flow, product pricing and profits.
  • Process deals on our trading platform and respond to payment inquiries through multiple channels.
  • Responsible for generating profit through buy and sell FX currencies with companies of the retail and financial sector, management own foreign exchange position and stablish growth strategy of Western Union's portfolio clients in Peru, in coordination with Commercial Executives.
  • Responsible for closing our FX position statements with banks and investing the cash surpluses for the day in an optimal way.
  • Responsible for operating in compliance with the company’s established market risk management and liquidity control guidelines.  

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics or related, and 3 or more years of experience in the Foreign Exchange industry within a sales-focused role. CFA certification is a plus.
  • You will use your in-depth knowledge of FX markets and commercial awareness to build customer trust, loyalty and retention.
  • Ability to understand market influences will enhance your excellent communication skills.
  • You must be analytically minded and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Active management of a client portfolio will be desirable.
  • Intermediate/advanced English Level
  • Proficiency in excel is a must.
