As part of the Payment Processing team, you will act as a bank investigator, meaning you will work with inquiries from business partners and banks related to payment processing and already processed customer transactions, also with reconciliation anomalies that require investigation with other departments and banks. You will manage investigation cases in the case management system and will monitor payments in the payment and core banking systems, ensuring prompt and successful case resolution.
Role Responsibilities

Conduct thorough investigations into reported payment discrepancies, non-receipt claims and reconciliation anomalies. This includes analyzing transaction data from multiple sources, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.

Efficiently manage and track investigation cases within our dedicated case management system. This includes assigning priorities, updating case statuses, and ensuring timely resolution of all outstanding issues.

Work closely with various internal departments (e.g., accounting, customer service, IT) and external banking partners to gather information, resolve disputes, and ensure smooth customer experience.
Role Requirements

High school degree is required. Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Administration is preferred.

Minimum 2 years of experience within the financial services or payments industry.

Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Fluency in English is essential.

Ability to work under minimum supervision and be self-motivated to learn new things.

Great attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.

Ability to learn quickly and be able to operate in a high-paced, high volume, dynamic environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Proficiency in using case management systems and various banking/payment systems.

Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 1,400 – 2,058 EUR. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
