In this critical position, you will drive growth and provide overall supervision and strategic leadership of the region. Using your strong business acumen, you take full ownership of the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Define and execute strategic priorities to drive growth across the region, taking full ownership of both retail and digital business lines while fostering strong relationships with agents.
- Leverage market trends and customer insights to inform business decisions and support the development of omnichannel sales, marketing, and pricing strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Assess internal data and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks and establish actionable plans that deliver measurable results.
- Lead the launch of new products and oversee the expansion and management of the agent and banking networks, strengthening both new and existing relationships.
- Own the Mexico P&L and be accountable for meeting revenue and expense targets.
- Partner with global cross-functional teams to implement initiatives that enhance business performance and deliver exceptional customer experience.
- Build and sustain high-level relationships, including at the C-suite—with key stakeholders such as regulators, partners, and customers.
- Execute core initiatives aligned with the business plan in collaboration with agents and cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
Role Requirements:
- Significant experience in relevant industries such as Remittances, Payments, Banking, or Fintech. Knowledge of wallet and/or payment strategies is a plus, though not required.
- Proven leadership with strong influencing and negotiation skills, including experience in revenue management and regulatory engagement.
- A high-energy, results-driven approach with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies and digital business models, with the ability to shape strategic decisions and negotiate effectively.
- Experience working with agile methodologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with the local language and business culture in Mexico is highly valued.
