Would you like to work for a global Money Transfer company that believes when money moves, better things can happen? Then it’s time to join Western Union as a Field Sales Executive.
Western Union powers your pursuit.
As a Fields Sales Executive, you’ll be responsible for achieving or exceeding sales targets across your designated territory and product range. Your primary focus will be on maximizing revenue opportunities with existing agents. This includes managing the full sales cycle — from identifying opportunities and negotiating terms to closing deals and ensuring successful ramp-up.
You’ll also lead agent development and support, ensuring consistent performance and compliance.
Role Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle management and support of all agents (new and existing), including troubleshooting and operational coordination.
- Field-based work — this is a home-based role with a company car provided.
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard new agents, ensuring successful activation and ramp-up from day one.
- Manage and support changes within the agent network, including ownership or legal entity changes, banking details, credit limits, and hardware/software upgrades.
- Oversee in-store branding and ensure consistent visibility at Yellow Shops, Concept Stores, etc.
- Distribute and maintain up-to-date marketing materials (e.g., leaflets, stickers, and merchandising).
- Coordinate with Inside Sales to manage pricing and agent commissions at the point of sale.
Role Requirements
- Strong account development skills and negotiation abilities, with a keen eye for identifying high-revenue potential leads.
- Ability to manage agent onboarding from lead qualification through documentation, collections, and internal coordination across departments.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ sales experience, ideally within the Money Transfer or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Flexibility to travel up to 70% within the defined territory and a valid driving license.
- Familiarity with or interest in key regions such as Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and surrounding areas is desirable.
- A Degree is a plus, but equivalent experience is welcome.
- Fluency in both English and German; additional languages are a plus.
