We recently launched digital banks and wallets in multiple markets to enhance our customers’ experiences with a cutting-edge digital Ecosystem. As the senior Software Engineer in the Integrations Engineering team, your primary responsibility will be to establish core digital banking and wallet solutions globally, while also mentoring and providing help to other junior Engineers

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor team of developers and testers
• Liaison with product team to define and prioritize features for team
• Provide expertise in high level architecture and business solutions for a specific platform supporting the technologies and working on timelines as per the business need.
• Design and manage secure, scalable and maintainable cloud-based software solutions.
• Monitor application architecture and ensure appropriate implementation of all solutions.   
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Become familiar with new technology in a short span of time and quickly ramp up people.
• Hands-on experience in designing and building microservices based architecture and platform developed and deployed at scale.  
• Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment and adapt to changing business priorities and to thrive under pressure  
• Team player with strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills  
• Excellent decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.  
• Demonstrated capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
•   Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery)  
•  Proven ability to understand business and ability to contribute to technology direction that drives measurable business improvements.  
• Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks

Role Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience.
• Track record of successful software architecture design and implementation.
• Solid hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, architectural and design patterns, Springboot, Web technologies, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, AWS or other cloud providers- REST APIs and Microservices using Java, Springboot, OutSystems, Kafka event streaming, React Native   
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals (like SOLID), data structures, algorithms, OOP, and best practices for microservices, domain driven design, data persistence/ data engineering.
• Ability to communicate and evangelize architectural concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Experience with agile development methodologies with emphasis on Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery)- GitLab, JIRA, CloudBees, OpenSearch, Swagger hub, Snowflake, Talend, AWS Cloud, Spinnaker, CI/CD 
• Comfortable with a Scrum project management style.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry preferred.
