In this role, you will be part of the global operations team, reviewing, analyzing new and existing Agents and/or partner companies’ profiles and backgrounds, registering them or making updates in Western Union systems, based on the need, and overseeing the Agents through to the end of their contracts or upon identified events. You will ensure full regulatory requirements are met within all Western Union internal systems.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct fitness and probity checks and due diligence of potential and existing Western Union agents
- Perform end-to-end sanctions and interdictions screening and periodic (portfolio) monitoring
- Coordinate agent life-cycle processes with globally based stakeholders and functional units
- Support colleagues and other departments to ensure excellent customer experience
- Maintain data in Western Union databases of the active agents’ network
- Handle and resolve escalations from business partners and teammates
- Create ad-hoc reports for business partners, senior management and/or other departments
- Participate in cross-functional projects, train team members
- Support supervisor in managerial and administrative matters
Role Requirements
- Fluency in English language, both verbal and written
- Good communication & collaboration skills
- A customer-centered mindset
- Attentiveness to details, strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly structured, deadline-driven environment
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
What will make you stand out:
- Experience working with legal entity data, in an Operations environment or AML Compliance fields
- Knowledge of big data management tools, ability to conduct adverse media research in public databases
- Additional foreign language
- University/ College degree of relevant disciplines
- Knowledge of AS400, SalesForce databases
