In this impactful individual contributor role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing leadership development programs that align with our established strategy. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders, HR colleagues, key stakeholders, and external vendors to execute high-quality leadership initiatives. Your ability to create engaging development experiences, support a culture of continuous learning, and drive meaningful business outcomes will be essential to the success of our global transformation.
Role Responsibilities:
- Learning Strategy Oversight – Oversee the learning strategy, design, development, implementation, and management of all internally developed and vendor-provided leadership development initiatives globally.
- Thought Leadership – Provide thought leadership in the field of leadership development, ensuring Western Union remains at the forefront of best practices and innovative approaches.
- Program Evaluation – Evaluate the effectiveness of leadership programs, determine strategies for improvement, and track, monitor, and report progress against plan with agreed-upon KPIs.
- Capability Building – Assess organizational strengths and development gaps to align leadership programs with our evolving business strategy, fostering a culture of development.
- Senior Leadership Collaboration – Partner with senior leadership to identify leadership development needs and create tailored programs that drive high-impact business outcomes.
- Executive Facilitation – Lead and facilitate engaging and effective leadership development sessions for executives, ensuring a high level of participation and learning.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Influence senior leaders and collaborate with HR colleagues, key stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure alignment with talent strategies.
- Vendor Management – Manage external vendors and strategic partnerships to ensure high-quality, scalable leadership development programs.
- Industry Insights – Monitor industry and market trends to continuously enhance leadership development methodologies and strategies.
Role Requirements:
- 10+ years of leadership development experience, including program design, development, project management, and facilitation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a people-oriented field or equivalent experience.
- Advanced facilitation skills with the ability to engage and inspire senior leaders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align leadership development initiatives with business goals.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience working effectively with cross-cultural teams.
- Proven experience managing external vendors and leadership training programs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including communication, negotiation, influence, and change management.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability in driving leadership development initiatives.

Salary
The base salary range is $170,000 – $200,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus long-term and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
