You will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the company's compensation strategy as we continue to evolve our business to be the global leader in cross-border money transfer. This position is responsible for developing and implementing compensation policies and programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives and market trends. The Director, Global Rewards will collaborate closely with senior leadership, HR business partners, and external compensation consultants to drive compensation practices that support our global workforce and promote a high-performance culture. You and your team will partner with leaders across the People organization and the business to determine where and how rewards practices should evolve – you will contribute to the development of our global rewards strategy. You will have a deep understanding of emerging trends in the competitive environment to provide innovative solutions to compensation and talent related challenges.
 

Role Responsibilities

• Strategic Compensation Planning – Contribute to the development and execution of the global compensation strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals and market competitiveness. Regularly review and adjust compensation structures and practices to support business objectives and employee engagement. Instill and improve rigor, clarity, discipline, agility, and an increased level of sophistication across our global rewards function.

• Leadership and Management – Direct the work of a global compensation team, ensuring fit-for-purpose compensation frameworks and principles designed to attract, retain, drive performance and engagement of employees at all levels. Act as primary ambassador of our global recognition program.

• Stakeholder Collaboration – Key advisor to senior leadership, HR Partners, and business leaders to support and deliver on the talent strategy and organizational performance, solve complex challenges, and support business unit priorities for assigned functional areas. Collaborate with finance, legal, payroll, HR Operations, and other departments to align compensation strategies with the company’s financial objectives and operational needs.

• Program Design and Implementation – Lead the design and implementation of compensation programs, including base salary, variable pay, and incentive plans. Ensure that these programs are effectively communicated and administered across all global locations. Assists in developing and organizing ongoing training of programs and overall philosophy to HR and management based on voice of customer feedback and best practices.

• Market Analysis and Benchmarking – Keep current and use data-driven insights from comprehensive market research and benchmarking to assess compensation trends, salary structures, incentive plan design, and other reward strategies. Recommend adjustments and enhancements to ensure our compensation offerings are competitive. Regularly assess compensation practices with a focus on remaining locally competitive and relevant as employee demographics and workplace needs shift while remaining aligned to global compensation practices and policies.

• Data Management and Reporting – Oversee the management of compensation data and analytics. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on compensation trends, program effectiveness, and ROI. Utilize data to drive continuous improvement in compensation practices. Identify, analyze, and draw insights from various data sources to support HR Partners and business leaders in making informed and meaningful decisions

• Compliance and Governance – Ensure all compensation practices and programs comply with relevant laws and regulations across different countries. Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards to maintain compliance and minimize risk.
 

Role Requirements

• Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 7 years in a leadership role overseeing global compensation strategies.
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market benchmarking, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data, develop strategic insights, and communicate findings effectively to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams and leaders.
• Experience working in a multinational corporation and understanding of global compensation practices.
• Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to present complex ideas to senior management and other
audiences
· History of experience in successfully assessing, developing, and implementing the principals of compensation & benefits in an
organizational setting, exercising responsibility in monitoring and complying with local regulations, compensation/benefits administration, and
communication
· Critical thinking, ability to navigate complex problems, analyze processes, synthesize data, communicate effectively, and deliver solutions and results
• CCP or GRP certification would be strongly preferred

Salary

The base salary range is $170,000 – $210,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus long-term and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
