As a member of our engineering team, you will develop large-scale applications. You will ensure that software functionality is implemented with a focus on code optimization.You will be involved in the designing and architecture digital projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead work on innovative, actionable, and efficient technology solutions to drive Microservices development using Java Spring Boot framework and other API enhancements on the middleware platforms for the assigned region.
• Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
• Execute to success through diligent planning, attention to detail, effective delegation, and efficient decision-making.
• Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers.
• Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
• Develop technical & domain expertise and apply in solving product challenges.
• Thorough code reviews
• Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional and cross-regional impacts.
• Share engineering support and release.
• Be a culture champion on the team and across the company.

Role Requirements 

• 4+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot framework, Couchbase DB or other similar NoSQL databases.
• Experience with J2EE technologies, JDBC, ORM, JAXB, DevOps tools, Kafka
• Experience with APIs, REST/JSON, Microservices, XML, XSLT, etc
• Experience developing applications using Spring Boot framework and open-source databases, Multithreading, serialization, Externalization, Collections, etc.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, DevOps tools, Jira, GIT, CI-CD Pipelines, postman.
• Someone with a proven track record of writing high quality, efficient code to build new microservices that orchestrate various system functionalities.
• Experience solving functional product needs by effectively leveraging open-source technologies
• Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery)
• Proven ability to understand the business and ability to contribute to technology direction that drives measurable business improvements.
• Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks
• Ability to evaluate business needs and achieve alignment among stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing both direct and indirect talent effectively.
• Strong technical skills in architecture patterns, solutions design, and integration development.
• Proven ability to understand the business and ability to contribute to technology direction that drives measurable business improvements.
