Role Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cash management responsibilities including the monitoring of bank balances, funding of bank accounts and the sweeping of any excess liquidity.

  • Process all agent funding payments in a timely manner.

  • Execute FX swaps and provide confirmation of FX transactions.

  • Follow and maintain all Treasury policies and controls.

  • Cross-train other Treasury employees on daily responsibilities

  • Test and set up new agent banking.

  • Participate in Treasury projects and support all Western Union business initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years on the job experience in treasury operations or banking.  Preferably in payment processing and cash management on a global level including foreign exchange back-office operations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related subject matter.

  • Experience in foreign exchange trading.

  • Experience with implementing SWIFT and/or other connectivity solutions with external banking partners, a plus.

  • Stakeholder management and problem-solving skills to ensure company policies and procedures are upheld to support organizational objectives and safeguard the company’s funds.

  • Customer service orientated, and ability to operate under tight timelines.

  • CTP designation preferred, but not required.

  • Knowledge of a Treasury Workstation, a plus.

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 1 975 – 3 083 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
