Master the most challenging role in Scrum. Expand your career horizon by adopting Agile and Scrum practices in Western Union. Are you game for a Scrum Master role where the Project Management process encourages stakeholder involvement, feedback, and effective controls?
We are looking for someone with expertise on guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers, on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks, removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. You will help us build a safe environment where people can raise problems without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving. You will also facilitate Sprint Ceremonies, discussion, and conflict resolution, auxiliary, and educating the Product Owners, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog. Your role will contribute to and help define and standardize processes, Agile metrics, and documentation of Agile processes.
It would be great to have a bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degrees is also preferred. We would also prefer it if you have a PSM II or CSP certifications or a combination of SAFe, SA, and CSM, strong knowledge of working Agile and experience, over 4 years of proven project management experience and over 6 years of proven Scrum Master experience, as well as experience managing distributed Scrum teams.
