You’ll strategically target the most compelling global Banks, creative digital FIs, and non-FIs, selling in WU’s cross-border money movement solutions to drive long-term strategic Baas partnerships and profitable revenue growth. As an enterprise sales expert, you will proactively lead and assess partnership opportunities across various verticals. As part of your role, you will map all global leads that strategically fit our value propositions and identify & prioritize sales with the most significant potential based on customer size and other factors such as money movement. You will also be involved in the commercial negotiation and contract stage as you secure funding & commitment and run the process to activation. As you gain expertise on all Western Union offerings, you will partner with global colleagues and the commercial development teams on best practices. You will also assist in developing a global enterprise sales strategy to create a “one WU” approach and value proposition using external data & competitive insights.

 

For such a critical role, you will need to have extensive number of years sales experience, including 5 years plus within the financial services sector with an extensive understanding of key players and how they operate. The majority of this experience will need to be from a client-facing sales or business development type positions, ideally within enterprise sales. A strong focus on leading global sales payments partnerships is highly desirable. You will need to demonstrate you have interfaced with external clients, including FIs or Fintech businesses. Having project and program management experience to organize teams to manage change initiatives is a must. You must demonstrate that you can build relationships with external stakeholders in complex regulatory environments and navigate your way around international corporate matrix organizations comfortably. Previously experience in agile methodology is highly desirable.

The annual gross base salary range is $135,000 – $200,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. The total compensation will also include a short-term commission bonus and long-term equity (20% of base) incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
