Systems Engineers

Systems Engineers for Western Union (Denver, CO) – Ownership of multiple IT transformation and migration projects. Point-of-contact for all requirement and procurement discussion; Owner for the application and infrastructure migration specific to transformation projects owned by IT Engineering; Work closely with the company’s Senior Leadership team to understand the business needs and chart the requirement accordingly; Involved in RFx discussions, SOWs and contract negotiations; Drive the procurement of multiple IT Infrastructure stacks as per requirements; Ownership of infrastructure modernization projects. This is a telecommuting position, reports to HQ in Denver, CO.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or related and 5 years progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience as a Project Manager, IT Consultant, IT Ops Manager or related software developer occupation, which must include some experience with: managing and supporting Active Directory (Directory Services, DFS, DNS); Windows Server management and performance troubleshooting; Hyperconverged infrastructure management (UCS)); Antivirus products installation, configuration and troubleshooting; VMware vSphere (Build and support); and storage solutions (EMC VNX) (Build and support). Also requires ITIL certification and/or AWS certification.

Annual base salary gross:  $81,204 – $143,044. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
