Better requires process, discipline, and simplification
We’ll be looking to you to provide valuable AML support to our agents and affiliates to help them comply to our global standards and polices. You will assist in implementing programs, polices & procedures for agents to meet regulatory obligations and minimize loss. One of your roles as an AML Officer will be to evaluate the agents existing AML controls through compliance and program reviews and discuss the findings with actions points for the agent and guide them through remediation, if applicable. This may also mean you need to provide training/s if required. You will also be asked to provide and prepare regular reports to your managers and team with your feedback and status updates.
For such a detail-oriented role, we require you to have 3+ years of experience in compliance with focus on Anti Money Laundering from financial institutions regulated by the Bank Negara Malaysia or remittance agents . You will need to be analytically minded as problem solving will be a regular part of the job. Strong oral and written communication skills are key as you will be interacting with agents, regulators, and colleagues regularly and this should be one of your primary strengths.
