You will be a part of our highly motivated team of credit risk specialists. In this role, you will be responsible for the investigation and analysis of credit information, working within established guidelines. It will be your responsibility to contact customers to determine the reason for payments delay and obtain payment commitment by placing outbound calls that are non-routine and require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. You’ll need to adapt your approach where required and confidently handle situations as well as to conduct extensive research depending on the customer’s response. You will be developing and implementing best collection practices and using a computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.
As you will be customer-facing in this role, your excellent English language skills, and a customer-centric approach are paramount. Any other European language will be a plus. High school education is required, Bachelor's degree is preferred. In this position, you need to be assertive, have advanced problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence, multitasking skills and be driven to succeed. In order to fit into this high-achieving team, you need to be motivated and self-sufficient. If you also have previous accounting, finance, credit risk management or collections work experience that would be ideal.

The annual gross base salary range is 15,510 – 27,386 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
