Better requires process discipline and simplification
We’ll expect you to take responsibility for ensuring Global Regulatory Compliance across the Western Union environment. You will be leading a team of cyber security professionals that monitor Western Unions compliance with international and local laws. You will interface directly with regulators, as well as our Senior Leadership team and members of the WU Leadership board. You will manage regulatory exams and report on the resolution of exam findings, including provision of evidence for closure. You will perform GAP analyses of legal requirements to cyber security controls, and also monitor regulatory requirements.
For such a pivotal role, we need you to have previous experience in a leadership role that is focused on Technical Risk Management, Information Security, IT Auditing or similar. You will have experience in running and managing regulatory assessments for a company with significant regulatory requirements, preferably Financial Services. You will be able to develop a strategy, and design and execute on the associated plan. You will need to have an understanding of current and emerging cyber security laws that affect Western Union licensing and security compliance. Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies is also desirable.
