Better requires process discipline and simplification
This important and new role is part of the Global Payments Compliance Strategy team which is responsible for developing and implementing global compliance initiatives for Western Union Payment Services Ireland Limited. You’ll play a vital role in advising and guiding globally diverse teams on compliance impacts for a wide range of products and initiatives. We’ll be looking for you to develop and deploy new tools and improve processes to further enhance the Compliance review process of business expansion initiatives. We’ll also expect you to embrace innovative technologies and be comfortable to assess their risk and potential impact, from a Compliance perspective.
This role requires substantial and significant experience within compliance or AML, ideally gained in a financial services sector with some payments background. Resolving financial crime risks in previous roles you’ll have gained a good knowledge of the current regulatory landscape and have strong understanding of the core functions of an AML program. When we meet, you’ll be able to demonstrate your strong analytical mindset and ability to handle complex issues in a professional and consistent matter. First-class organizational skills, great attention to detail, and a track record of excellent communication to colleagues and stakeholders at all levels will be self-evident in your interview. Good understanding or previous experience preparing governance presentations and board/senior management reporting would be an advantage.
