The Endpoint Security Engineer is an instrumental part of our talented cyber defense team. You will use your highly technical security skills to design and manage our endpoint security solutions as a member of the endpoint security team. The Endpoint Security Engineer will be responsible to manage and define the policies for our Anti-virus, Anti-Malware and EDR solutions including creating and maintaining documentation and providing training to other cyber defense team members. You will support customer requests to troubleshoot security agent installations and work with vendors and create support cases as needed. Responsibilities include the creation, planning, and execution of application and policy upgrades while adhering to established change control processes. Prior experience coordinating efforts between various IT and security teams is a plus.

For this important role, you will need 5+ years in the information technology field, with 2+ years of experience in deploying and maintaining endpoint security tools, such as Crowdstrike (preferred), Tanium, Axonius, or NetScope.  You’ll also have experience providing administration and operational support for endpoint security technology covering EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) & Anti-virus Solutions.  Experience with Linux and OSX preferred, and knowledge of File Integrity Monitoring solutions is a plus.

Annual base salary gross:  81,204.01 – 143,043.53  

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
