Better requires process discipline and simplification
As an essential member to the Global Bid Team, you will actively contribute to our business growth objectives by managing the production of bids and proposals to drive new business and increase client retention. You will do this by delivering compelling documentation to a consistently high standard of quality for a diverse range of customers, including large enterprises and key accounts. You will own and manage bids and proposals from start to finish, coordinating, directing, and reviewing internal resources and content, ensuring the utmost accuracy is taken for all proposal submissions and deadlines are met. Analytically minded and commercially astute, you will cooperate with stakeholders across the business at all levels, as well as externally, to deliver a range of projects. As part of a global centre of excellence, you and the Bid Team will be required to adopt, communicate, and drive best practice to bid effectively across the organisation.
For this role, you will need solid bid and proposal management experience, ideally with Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Certification. You will be experienced in working autonomously, delivering high-quality work, presenting to senior stakeholders, and be very comfortable navigating your way around a global matrix organisation. When we meet you'll be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong track record of producing and managing clear and compelling content in a professional capacity, that clearly articulates an organisation's value proposition. Previous experience with Proposal Management Software is also desirable.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude. The hiring team will be able to answer any questions you may have.
