You will help drive the global product and execution of Western Union Business Solutions (WUBS) education and medical verticals. This encompasses managing the product roadmap for our customers and the portfolio of products they use. You will be responsible for owning the global product / customer segment. S/he will work in conjunction with sales and marketing to develop and drive the product’s success in the marketplace, influencing and driving the global product roadmap by being a Subject Matter Expert, and supporting the delivery of product solutions from the global product team.

 

You will be the Product Expert responsible for clearly articulating the product value proposition, ensuring its dissemination, ensuring key tools and processes are in place to support the product. Provide hands-on functionality verification and release signoff. You will be expected to know and analyze key customer and product metrics, benchmark against industry and global standards, and asses the regional competitive marketplace. The Manager will be asked to use insights to influence global product strategies and gain stakeholder buy-in. Will be expected to support sales in key client accounts when needed.

 

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the deployment of global product enhancements including understanding the impact his/her clients. S/he will also be responsible for knowing technology projects or changes that may impact clients and is expected to be the client advocate in said cases while managing and tracking clients to minimize the impact of project deployments on customers.

 

You must possess strategic and critical thinking skills with excellent written and oral communication capabilities, have the ability to work in a matrixed environment, and work both independently and as part of a team. Must be a self-starter who is able to question the status quo, meet deadlines, and self-direct. Experienced in the credit card industry or medical industry is a bonus.

 

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under tight resource and schedule restrictions. Candidate must be comfortable meeting with clients and communicating the product value proposition.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude. Annual base salary gross: $81,201-143,043. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
