Better requires process discipline and simplification
You’ll be joining a highly talented credit team. This team is essential to the management and allocating of credit and is core to the success of our sales functions. The credit department is responsible for all facets of the credit process from review, allocation, monitoring, and reporting. As a Credit Analyst, we’ll be looking to you to supports the Credit Manager in managing the credit risk across ANZ. The primary function of the role will be to undertake credit assessment of new clients and review existing customers to establish/assess the provision of acceptable credit terms in accordance with ‘The Policy’. You will ensure all new business cases are reviewed and the customer service provided is to a high standard for internal and external parties.
Here are some skills, attributes, and qualifications you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Business, or Finance is required
- 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally with emphasis on commercial credit underwriting.
- Intermediate MS office skills with the ability to build and manage spreadsheets.
- Ability to interpret/evaluate company financial statements and draw conclusions as to credit worthiness.
- Actively able to make credit judgments & decisions.
- Good understanding of the Australian SME and/or Corporate Market.

However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude.
