Better requires process discipline and simplification
We’ll be looking to you to be our subject matter expert and manage at senior level within the Financial Crime Compliance team. Reporting directly to the Director Financial Crime, you will support the development and management of the Financial Crime Compliance program and implement and manage related initiatives. You will be motivating and nurturing a team of Financial Crime Compliance experts and ensure that all regulatory requirements are met. It is part of your role to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, and to develop and implement strategies. You will be involved in several high-profile projects, which will allow you to influence and shape the compliance setup.
For such a significant role, we require you to have extensive senior level experience in Financial Crime Compliance, preferably within the FinTech and / or FX sector. We require an excellent communicator who can collaborate across the business. Fluency in English is a requirement. Previous experience of agile working methodologies is also desirable.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude.
