We’ll be looking to you to sell Western Union cross-border money movement solutions to mid-tier regional and national Financial Institutions (FI) to significantly drive the number and success of 3rd party partnerships long-term revenue. You will execute regional enterprise FI sales strategy reflecting a “one WU” approach and value proposition to Financial Institutions. You will map all regional FI’s to most likely strategic fit of value propositions based on FI type, FI needs and competitive landscape. You will identify and prioritize sales to FI’s with the most significant potential based on size of customer base and other factors as size of outbound money movement market. You’ll secure deals, launch and retain key FI prospects ensuring a best-in-class partner and end user experience.
For such a pivotal position, you will have 6 years of experience solution-selling either to financial institutions or on behalf of a financial institution. You’ll have demonstrated ability leading and developing global payments partnerships. You will have the ability to interface with external organizations and influence internal and external executives. You will know how to lead cross-functionally to drive large-scale change in a complex, global matrixed environment, through influencing and metrics-driven performance structures. You will be comfortable prospective customers, leveraging referrals, and staying on customers throughout the sales cycle. You will have extensive contacts within the banking sector and understand the sector inside and out.

Annual base salary gross: 129,741.00 to 216,234.00 /year + commission + long term incentive. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
