Better starts and ends with the customer

You will be supporting the Business Development Sales team in identifying new opportunities. For this, you will be working from a prospect database, making initial qualifying calls to SMEs and Corporates prospects, gathering relevant information and recording it in our system. Your role will be vital in presenting Western Union Business Solutions value proposition and booking an appointment with the key decision-maker for the Business Development Managers. You will be also supporting the Sales team in the customer onboarding process. You will have the opportunity to attend internal recurrent calls and acquire an understanding of the Foreign Exchange market and commercial actions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

• Interested in starting a professional experience in a Foreign Exchange B2B Sales role

• Fluent in English and Italian languages

• Self-confident and resilient to objection handling

• Excellent communication and listening skills

• Interest in the financial market or payment sector

• Proficiency in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Results-oriented

This is a 6-month / 1-year Internship.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude.
