We’ll look to you to lead donor engagement and fundraising efforts and strategies to evaluate, develop, and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the Western Union Foundation. You will be responsible for designing, delivering data and insights-driven activities to increase donor engagement and fundraising across our 5 key donor groups: Western Union Vendors, Agents, Consumers, Business Units, and Employees. You will report to the Group Leader of the Foundation, with close consultation with the Executive Director, and work closely with other members of the foundation team. You will present in Board and cross-functional leadership team meetings as needed. You will provide leadership to a small team.
For such an important role, you will have 10 years of experience building relationships in a corporate foundation. You will have a bachelor’s degree in a related subject. You’ll have strong organizational skills with experience using Microsoft Office Excel for data management and analysis. You will have experience with project management and comfort with a hands-on approach to fund development. You will demonstrate the ability to develop strategies to maximize foundation opportunities, cultivate new and ongoing donors, identify and coordinate fundraising opportunities, including fundraising events, and take ownership of donor database and donation metrics management. You will have strong communication skills, capable of speaking to different levels of leadership within Western Union, the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, and leadership skills.

Annual base salary gross: $81,204.01 – $143,043.53
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees. In addition to the annual salary, this role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus.
