Better requires process, discipline, and simplification
We’ll be looking to you to be responsible for designing, maintaining, and updating key transaction support production databases. You will provide technical expertise in the use of database technology and available tools, to contribute to the execution of the company’s marketing, finance, strategic, and customer care projects, and initiatives. You are accountable for the overall performance of the key transaction support database environment, which is maintained through the processing of requests within Standard Response Times and priorities, and according to Standard Operating Procedures. You will work closely with clients, business analysts, systems programmers, and application developers to define and resolve data flow and content issues, helping to transform business requirements into environment-specific databases. You will monitor and analyze performance metrics and allocates database resources to achieve optimum database performance, must be able to detect, correct or escalate errors or inconsistencies in the databases.
For this role, we require you to have a high level of accuracy, reliability, commitment, and responsibility in order to ensure that mission-critical business technical requests are correctly applied to the production environment. You will perform under continuous alert mode and awareness of the task’s impact, you must be able to detect, correct or escalate errors or inconsistencies in already existing records to actively contribute towards ‘database integrity’. You need to create/maintain and has complete knowledge and expertise on the management of all downloadable files for our agents such as Rates, Delivery Service, Templates, Error Codes, and Banner Messages, etc while also handling requests for Promo Codes, FX Spreads, Loyalty Program, Fee/data reconciliation, and Receipt Messages worldwide. We require you to be proactive, able to work under minimum supervision, multitask, efficient, and a fast learner. We require you to have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in related areas. You should demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills and high attention to detail. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related is preferred. It’s required a strong mastery of Excel and advanced English level (B2+). You should be a skilled professional in data wrangling and modeling (Python or R), database querying (e.g., SQL), and use of cloud-based platforms (e.g., Snowflake), also with experience in Power BI and Visual Basic.
