In this important role, you will manage and lead the overall business operation and strategy across 11 countries in West Africa. As an active participant in the international leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth and developing relationships with existing and new agents in the market. You will be responsible for building and expanding the Western Union service and presence in digital, retail and, hybrid channels, exceeding performance targets in all key areas.

In this critical role, you will lead business development, service delivery, marketing, external stakeholder management and, play a key role in working with regulators.

To succeed in this role, you will have substantial relevant working experience in the banking and financial sectors (preferably including Mobile Money services) and have a proven track record of driving business growth and managing budgets. You will have the ability to effectively handle all business areas and use your influencing skills to lead and build positive relationships with all stakeholders, including regulators.  Previous experience in agile working methodologies is also desirable.
