Better requires process discipline and simplification

As a Manager, you will be a hands-on representative of the Red Team. You’ll be highly technical, with a solid understanding of information security, applications, networking & various operating systems, along with tools & frameworks. You’ll be responsible for setting the penetration testing strategy, leading & developing all Red team members, collaborating with others on the team for remediation, additional validation, as well as contribute to other approaches driven by the security team strategy, such as purple teaming, to enhance skillsets for both red and blue team members.

For a critical role like this, you must have 8+ years of total experience in penetration testing, offensive tactics, and performing Red team exercises with OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GWAPT, CISSP. You’ll be proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash & Ruby; competent with testing frameworks and tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Kali Linux, Nessus, PowerShell Empire and Autoploid. You will bring forth strong operating system knowledge across *nix, Windows, Mac; proficient with networking protocols, along with leadership experience including people management, strategy management and leading penetration testing team engagements. Familiarity with defensive and monitoring technologies such intrusion prevention/detection systems (IPS/IDS), security information and event management systems (SIEMs), firewalls, endpoint protection (EPP) and endpoint detection/response (EDR) tools, as well as user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) is additionally expected from you.
