Senior Accounting Associate – Vilnius, Lithuania

Role Responsibilities

Assist in period-end close process, including journal entries posting and periodic validation of balance sheet accounts to supporting documents.

Communicate with various business partners daily, to find and solve problems, raising issues, and following-up with management as necessary.

Assist in the preparation of standard and specialized financial reports.
Role Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
-
Up to three years’ experience in accounting.

Solid English language skills, written and verbal.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Attention to details.
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly structured, deadline-driven environment.
Work Shift
Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.

Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 1,531 – 2,208 EUR. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
