We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth across seven countries in West Africa. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and marketing acumen, a positive attitude, and a “go-getter” mindset. This role requires a deep understanding of the banking and fintech ecosystem, coupled with a proven ability to build strategic partnerships and execute commercial strategies.

Role Responsibilities
- Expand Partner Network: Identify, engage, and onboard new banking institutions, fintech companies, and strategic partners to strengthen our regional footprint.
- Develop & Implement Commercial Strategies: Design and execute innovative business development plans to achieve revenue and market share objectives across multiple markets.
- Market Analysis & Growth: Monitor industry trends, assess competitive landscape, and identify new opportunities within the African financial services sector.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across banks, fintechs, and mobile network operators (MNOs).
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, prepare reports, and recommend actions to optimize business performance across all seven countries.
Role Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years in business development, sales, or partnership management within banking, fintech, or digital financial services.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of West African financial markets, with an established network in banking and fintech sectors.
- Added Advantage: Experience with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), fintech solutions, and digital banking platforms.
