As a Senior Specialist, Business Analysis, you will be working closely with business analysts, policy owners, functional leaders, business and technical stakeholders on delivering Anti-Money Laundering Compliance solutions. You will be primarily responsible for identifying, assessing and analyzing business requirements and designing solution implementation plans.
Role Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements

Collect, elicit, and document AML Compliance project requirements from stakeholders across the organization.

Assist stakeholders in evaluating new opportunities and estimating implementation effort.

Conduct impact analysis and create high level estimations for solution requests.

Facilitate requirement and design discussions between business stakeholders, partner resources, and technical teams.
Process & Operational Improvement

Analyze business workflows and recommend operational or process improvements.

Support specific process improvement initiatives, including customer experience enhancements.

Perform time studies using sampling methods and tools to capture process timing.
Delivery, Analysis & Reporting
-
Participate in and occasionally lead analytical projects related to AML regulatory or product requirements.

Contribute to business intelligence reporting needs and support postimplementation analysis.

Support user testing (UAT) by ensuring requirements traceability and documentation completeness.

Maintain thorough documentation and ensure clear knowledge sharing across teams.
Role Requirements
-
Fluency in English and Spanish
-
2+ years in a similar role: Business Analyst, Process Improvement Specialist, Project Manager/Coordinator, or related position.

Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis with minimal supervision.

Ability to analyze complex workflows and translate them into actionable requirements.

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-
Critical thinking, problem solving, and goalsetting capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a high pressure, fast paced environment.

Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
-
Project management and/or process management knowledge, with the ability to drive initiatives to successful completion.
Work Shift
HYBRID – Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.

Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 1,812 – 2600 EUR. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
