As an Associate in Bank Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of payment transactions for our business clients. You will be responsible for processing and monitoring payments, resolving transaction issues, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness. This role is essential to delivering seamless customer experience and supporting the integrity of our financial operations.

Role Responsibilities

• Accurately enter payment instructions into internal systems such as the payment engine and core banking platform. Review and approve payments submitted by colleagues, ensuring they are released before cut-off times and in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).

• Proactively monitor failed customer transactions throughout the day. Investigate and resolve issues where possible to ensure timely release. For transactions that cannot be resolved, initiate appropriate refund procedures in line with internal policies. 

• Operate across multiple banking systems to manage payment workflows, ensuring data integrity and compliance with operational standards.

Role Requirements 

• A high school diploma is required; post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration is preferred.

• Fluency in English language is essential.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when performing repetitive tasks.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing effectively to a team environment.

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume operational setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with banking systems is an advantage.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and SLAs.

Salary 

The monthly gross base salary range is 1,166 – 1,622 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
