In this role, you will supervise and control that the operations of the Own Agencies in Panamá are carried out in accordance with the Western Union International Money Transfer Services Manual. As well as complying and enforce compliance with the Standards, Procedures and Policies established by the Company.

Role Responsibilities

  • To manage, supervise and control the operation of our own agencies in Panama.
  • Ensure the store adheres to company policies, while increasing same store sales transactions exceeding transaction quota gross profit margin expectations. 
  • Works to create and maintain appropriate levels of focus, operational integrity and control strategies for the business, ensuring acceptable cash handling procedures, audit results and adherence to legal, corporate and regulatory procedures.
  • Meet business goals (P&L results).   You’re responsible for the achievement of transactional and revenue goals.
  • You’re in charge of expansion projects (own stores). You’ll implement the project and hire new employees.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering or a related field will be preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience working in a similar function and in a multinational environment.
  • Process improvement and analytic mindset, with exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and customers.
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Package tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint and Power Bi.
  • Advance English level is required.
  • Good credit report (APC) is a must.
  • This position will require regular travel within provinces, so a valid driver’s license and owning a car are required.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm and flexibility to attend Saturdays and/or Sundays for emergencies.
