In this pivotal role, you will be accountable for developing and executing pricing strategies for a portfolio of current and future products across targeted customer and market segments for Western Union’s Digital channel. As the leader of global digital pricing, this role includes accountability for using pricing as a lever to deliver on revenue, volume and margin goals. Additionally, you will partner with cross-functional product and technology teams to test new pricing capabilities, as well as refine and scale successful capabilities globally (e.g., algorithmic pricing, customer segmentation, etc.).
Role Responsibilities
- Define the top-down pricing strategy globally for Western Union
- Partner with regional and cross-functional leaders in activate global pricing strategy to deliver on quarterly revenue, volume and margin goals
- Set the overall prioritization of capability development for the broader pricing team based on the needs of the business.
- Test, refine and scale new pricing capabilities globally
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver business impact across a broad range of topics.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative function (e.g. Business, Economics, or Math). An MBA is highly preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience.
- Consumer industry experience is a huge plus (e.g., CPG, Retail, Financial Services)
- Communicate across a full organization in a highly dynamic nature.
- Demonstrated the ability to lead people and build teams.
- Advanced knowledge of analytics and the use of analytics to solve business problems.
- Basic knowledge of technology solutions/product development to support pricing development.
- Consultative background at a top firm is preferred
- Work with any leader within a large organization.
- Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) needed. Exposure to SQL, Python and PowerBI a plus.

Salary
The base salary range is $112,000 – 180,000.00 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus a short-term incentive that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
