As an Engagement Manager, you will be the driving force behind successful project delivery for our product, platform & engineering teams. You will collaborate closely with our internal cloud teams, leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and exceeding expectations. This role demands a highly organized, proactive individual with exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of navigating complex projects and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Role Responsibilities

Delivery:
    •    Partner with engineering teams and support teams to understand project needs, define success         metrics, and ensure project outcomes surpass expectations.
    •    Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including developing project governance plans, schedules, team goals, milestones, budgets, and success criteria.
    •    Proactively manage engagement goals, leading teams to achieve desired outcomes by effectively addressing issues, risks, decisions, dependencies, and action items.
    •    Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to adjust contractual scope, financials, and timelines as needed.
    •    Demonstrate ownership, thrive under pressure, manage budgets effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
    •    Hold internal and external teams accountable, provide course correction when necessary, and manage expectations throughout engagements.
    •    Adapt to dynamic environments with shifting priorities and take proactive steps to ensure teams meet or exceed client expectations.
    •    Be self-directed and effective working independently, while also contributing seamlessly within a global team environment.
    •    Focus on results, prioritize tasks, plan effectively, and maintain organization to meet commitments.
    •    Ensure engineering and partner teams meet or exceed client business objectives.

Solutions:
    •    Lead and actively participate in analyzing project goals, developing comprehensive plans, and guiding engineering team members, other stakeholders/SMEs, and potentially other third-party contributors to achieve those goals, while understanding client environments and limitations.
    •    Continuously seek opportunities to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness.
    •    Apply strategic thinking and demonstrate a clear understanding of requirements to execute projects successfully.

    •    Leverage business and financial acumen to drive measurable business results and ensure client success.
    •    Support and influence the sales lifecycle by engaging clients in defining subsequent phases of engineering projects to meet their needs.
    •    Contribute to practice development by creating practical solutions, methodologies, and knowledge-sharing resources.

• Facilitate identification of timelines, dashboards, success metrics, and financial scorecards for each initiative
• Manage project resources including project staffing, developing, motivating, coaching and advising.
• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements and collaborate to deliver.
• Lead scrum teams in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop and deliver various reports and presentations to steering committees, project sponsors, and other stakeholders

Communication:
    •    Possess outstanding written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, effectively engaging team members and audiences of all levels.
    •    Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal engineering stakeholders, including senior leadership (SVP/VP, Directors), and project-level resources (SMEs).
    •    Plan and manage the preparation and distribution of project communications.
    •    Understand diverse operating styles, team/client dynamics, and adapt behavior accordingly to achieve success. Recognize environmental and cultural nuances and adapt effectively.
    •    Foster an inclusive and diverse work environment.

Role Requirements

• Overall 12+ Years of Experience with Minimum 5+ years proven project management experience.
• PMP, Agile, SAFE, and/or CSM certifications preferred.
• Experience working in Agile, waterfall and hybrid environment.
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
• Jira, Jira Align and Confluence experience a plus.
