Role Responsibilities:
The Sr. People Relations Partner (Senior Manager) is a seasoned HR professional responsible for managing complex people/employee relations functions across 10+ countries.
This role ensures compliance with global labor laws, leads workplace investigations, develops policies and handbooks, and oversees workforce actions, accommodations, and separations. By balancing organizational objectives with employee needs, the role directly impacts workplace culture, legal compliance, and risk mitigation. With a focus on strategic planning, global collaboration, and scalable solutions, the position drives fairness, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
You will:
- Lead, manage, and drive consistency in People Relations (PR) process and practices to include but not limited to workplace investigations, policies, handbooks, workplace accommodations, alternative work arrangements, corrective action, employment separations, and background check governance across the region, ensuring compliance alignment with global strategy and regional requirements.
- Serve as a liaison and partner between PR and other HR functions (e.g. regional HR teams, the Employment Law team, the Business Integrity Office) to address complex regional challenges.
- Lead, guide, and actively participate in global business process projects that result in timely implementations, process improvements, and improved employee experiences and supports the principles of a scalable self-service model.
- Act as the regional escalation point for high-risk or sensitive PR matters, including workforce actions and terminations in their respective region.
- Monitor and report on regional PR metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Includes identifying trends in PR cases and recommending proactive solutions to address potential risks. Own key metrics and reporting for PR activities within the region, aligned with the global reporting.
- Mentor other PR professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to achieve operational excellence.
Role Requirements:
To be successful in this role, end- to-end experience in APAC Human Resources is preferred.
- 10+ years in HR &/or PR or related roles, with demonstrated expertise in investigations and policy management, including expertise in investigations on a regional and/or global scale.
- 3+ years strong leadership and project management skills and familiarity with Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or Employment Law or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications or specialized regional / global credentials in workplace investigations (e.g., AWI-CH or CFI), are advantageous.
Additionally:
- Strategic thinking with the ability to operationalize initiatives effectively.
- Exceptional written communication and investigation report writing skills.
- Advanced understanding of regional labor laws and compliance requirements, in a global corporation.
