In this crucial role you will be under general supervision of Sr. Leadership, the US Regional Compliance Team (RCT) Manager will execute the management of a field team in the AML Compliance Department. This role will supervise a number of direct staff positions responsible for performing Agent/Client compliance program reviews, investigations, and executing Agent/Client compliance support duties.
In addition, the RCT Manager will contribute to the development, implementation, and enforcement of policies, procedures, and programs designed to support Agents/Clients and minimize potential money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and consumer protection risks. This critical role will assist Senior Leadership in risk ownership and mitigation and will be responsible for coordinating activities with other regional and global program leaders on compliance initiatives.
For this role you will need 7+ years’ of relevant experience in complex retail/consumer financial services/payment services organizations with multiple financial products, or a regulatory agency or law firm.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a corporate management/supervisory position with multiple direct reports.
You will need advanced understanding of anti-money laundering regulations within the banking/financial services industry and experience addressing compliance issues relating to anti-money laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, and related laws/regulations. Advanced presentation skills and written/verbal communication experience engaging with individuals of varying levels of compliance expertise. Effective leader and team player with the skillset to drive accountability and skill growth for direct reports.
You will also need strong MS capabilities, (PPT, Excel, etc.). Strong relationship management capabilities and experience managing large clients and cross functional Compliance/Business interaction. And the ability to travel 25% to 50%.

Annual base salary gross: $81,204-143,043. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
