Better requires process, discipline, and simplification
We’ll look to you to use your keen eye for detail to ensure items going through our check processing department are accurate and completed in a timely manner. You’ll review foreign and domestic check details, manually code into our processing platform, and prepare letters to be sent for the foreign banks. You’ll also work with internal partners to communicate issues and provide updates on workflow processing, and with our banking partners and foreign banks to ensure credits are received correctly.
Here are some skills, attributes, and qualifications you will have:
- Ability to understand, digest and follow regulatory and compliance laws that pertain to processing checks
- Previous work experience in the banking industry desirable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced Excel knowledge and experience is an advantage
- This role would suit either a recent graduate looking for a starter role in a leading global financial services organisation, or a candidate with previous experience in a processing role within financial services where attention to detail is key to success.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude.
