We’ll be looking to you to provide strategic development, design, and execution of the risk-based, worldwide internal audit program.  You will be responsible for developing and evaluating Western Union’s international system of SOX, SOC, operational risks, processes, and controls. In addition, communicate risks identified through audit function and identify risks, controls, and recommendations to improve.

You’ll have a minimum of 15 years of progressive senior management in a global company within the financial services/banking sector for such a role. You will have a minimum of 12 years in financial services or audit/related of a multi-national company—previous experience presenting to and influencing Boards and executive management. In addition, you’ll need a proven track record of risk mitigation, as well as demonstrating attention to detail, sound business judgment, and pragmatic thinking. Also, Big 4 experience and agile working methodologies are desirable.

The on-target earnings range is $306,000 – $450,000 which includes a base salary of $ 170,000-$250,000 short-term (30 % of base), and long-term (50% of base) incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
