In this role you will have vital responsibilities in our work to help ensure that WUBS Malta complies with its regulatory and legal requirement and assist in implementing an outsourcing oversight framework.  We’ll look to you to develop and maintain the outsourcing methodology, policies and other internal regulation and their compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll be assisting the outsourcing officer of WUBS Malta to perform all activities required for the role, drive timely amendments and perform reviews of outsourcing agreements, ensuring performance systems are in place for outsourcing providers. You’ll have the responsibility of overseeing the service level agreements and the compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. You’ll be preparing monthly status updates for any committees as well as managing regulatory compliance risk and you’ll ensure that internal controls adequately measure and manage any identified risks. Moreover, you’ll be keeping up to date with regulatory changes and assisting stakeholders, creating and implementing organisational policies, standards, and procedures to comply with applicable regulations. You will also provide support in the local implementation of the annual compliance plan.

For this role you will ideally be Degree-educated or possess relevant financial services experience, you will be confident in managing and prioritizing your workload, have great regulatory and communication skills, an analytical mind, and an understanding of the payments industry. You will be a relationship builder and have experience in the financial services industry and risk-based compliance.
